Fourteen Is Too Many:Survivors

Every spring or early summer Grandpa’s farm bounces alive with new babies; Baby chicks Fourteen Is Too Many: Survivors(Chickens–Hens & roosters), baby ducklings (Ducks –Hens & Mallards), baby calves (Cattle–Cows & Bulls), baby lambs (Sheep– Ewes and Rams), sometimes a baby colt (Horses—Mare or Stallion) and this summer baby piglets (Pigs – Sows & Boars). Along with the births, spring rains and storms encourage the gardens and the oat crops and give the land a sense of new beginnings.

But sometimes those storms bring problems as you will see in this book, number one in the Farm Life Series.
